Programs

The WTA offers the following programs to help member employers promote sustainable commuting at their worksites.

The Carefree Commuter Challenge (July)

This trip-reduction event encourages everyone to try sustainable transportation for at least 6 days in July and is open to everyone in the Metro area! Incentives and prizes are donated by area businesses and frequently include bikes and gift certificates.

The Westside Commuter Club (year-round)

This year-round trip-reduction club helps commuters and employers track their success in reducing SOV trips to work. Incentives are determined by participating employers.

RTO Training - Regional Travel Options (schedule varies)

Take your interest in sustainable transportation to the next level by attending these classes. You'll come away with the latest travel options offered in your area and great ideas for spreading the word at your workplace.

Bicycle Rack Program (2010-2011)

Starting January 2010, the WTA will be offering bicycle racks to Tigard retailers. With some additional survey information for the cyclist to fill out, the process will be as easy as riding a bike.
